BA460 Week 8 Assignment Part 2

This is part 2 of the project includes the following:

·         The proposal that outlines how your fictional PR firm (Munnfork Public Relations) will address the organization’s role in the issue, including research and evaluation methods to be used

·         An outline of priority publics involved with each described

·         Any conflict in culture or values that might be involved, as well as news media used to reach each public

·         A News Release for traditional, trade and social media announcing the firm’s acceptance of the assignment

 

You will deliver three written pieces that your PR firm had to write, in order to support the company who is involved in the "situation". You will write a Proposal, Outline of Priorities, and a News Release.

Here are the details:

1)    A Proposal that outlines how the firm will address the organization’s role in the issue, including research and evaluation methods to be used;

2)    an Outline of priority publics involved with each described and any conflict in culture or values that might be involved as well as news media used to reach each public;

3)    a News Release for traditional, trade and social media announcing the firm’s acceptance of the assignment.

Assignment Requirements:

  • Write between 1000 – 1,250 words (approximately 4 – 5 pages) using Microsoft Word in APA style, see example below.
  • Use font size 12 and 1” margins.
  • Include cover page and reference page.
  • At least 80% of your paper must be original content/writing.
  • No more than 20% of your content/information may come from references.
  • Use at least three references from outside the course material, one reference must be from EBSCOhost. Text book, lectures, and other materials in the course may be used, but are not counted toward the three reference requirement.
  • Cite all reference material (data, dates, graphs, quotes, paraphrased words, values, etc.) in the paper and list on a reference page in APA style.

References must come from sources such as, scholarly journals found in EBSCOhost, CNN, online newspapers such as, The Wall Street Journal, government websites, etc. Sources such as, Wikis, Yahoo Answers, eHow, blogs, etc. are not acceptable for academic writing.
