Market Segments and Analysis of a Current Leader

Diet Coke and Coke Zero, essentially the same product but targeted at completely different customers. Watch the two videos advertisements found on the "Target Strategy" page of this week's module, and share your thoughts on the following:
  • What were the different target segments based on both advertisements?
  • Why do you feel that the company went to the trouble of creating Coke Zero, when it is essentially the same as Diet Coke? What do you feel is their target marketing strategy?
  • Reply to another student and provide your opinion and further insight on Coca Cola's target marketing strategy. What are some of the differences that you noticed between the two videos?
