I want finish my degree by the time I am 33 years old.

This is achievable because I am currently enrolled in a Bachelors in Psychology at Ashworth College that I soon graduate from that will allow me to be able to move on to obtaining a Master’s degree in Counseling. I am 30 years old, and I will graduate in 2017 with my bachelors and then enroll in a master’s program after graduation. It is ambitious because it will take a lot of hard work to become a licensed counselor with specialization in addictions, professional or marriage and family.

  • Is the goal in alignment with the overall mission or strategy?

This is relevant to me because I made the career decision to go to back to school to become a school counselor or on my own and I am passionate about my career choice.

  • What is the deadline?
  • Is the deadline realistic?

I will revisit this goal after I have become a licensed counselor and set a new career goal. My goal need to be achieved by the time I turn 33 and the deadline is achievable with hard work and dedication.

Final Goal: To obtain my Master’s Degree in Addiction, Profession or Marriage and Family Therapy Counseling to practice and gain experience by helping those in the community and then to branch off into my own private practice.
