1. Prepare an Excel spreadsheet containing the following for each of the variables you selected in week 2. You must use the same state and exactly the same 6 variables you used in week 2; If not there will be a 50% reduction in your score if you change even one variable:

• Column 1 - selected state counties

• Column 2 - 2010 population

• Columns 3 through 8 - the actual data values of your selected 6 variables.

Then below those data values, calculate the state's mean, median, mode, and sample standard deviation for your selected variables. Construct a frequency table and use it to create a histogram for your selected variables. Note that your histogram should show your data in classes.

2. Prepare a brief Word document (75 Words) in which you discuss whether you think each of your 6 histograms is or is not approximately Normal Distributed. (Use the item 1 histogram, above to help with this), Why is assessing normality important?

*When completing the Word document include the results in the table, graphs, and explanation*

*Should have an Excel Spreadsheet and a Separate Word Doc*
